She knew exactly what she was booking
Renee Richard did not book Lamar off a referral or a speaker bureau listing. She had been following his workshops and his content well before she invited him, so she already knew how he taught and who he taught it for.
“It didn’t take long for me to realize this is someone our entrepreneurs need to hear from.
And boy, was I right.”
What he delivered
Corporate College scoped the engagement across three formats, and Lamar delivered all three in a single visit:
A recorded podcast episode for the Center's YouTube channel, on how he built his business and what he wishes every entrepreneur understood.
A private VIP session, Beyond Survival: Building Systems That Scale, with a group of the Center's scaling entrepreneurs. In Renee's words: "very open, very honest about what it really takes to move a business forward."
A moderated Q&A, The Growth Blueprint: Turning Small Wins into Big Leaps, hosted by Heather Holmes, for a room full of early-stage entrepreneurs.
One booking, three formats, two distinct audience segments served, plus an evergreen content asset the Center still owns.
What the room did
"The energy was incredible. People were leaning in, taking notes, nodding along, and afterward they lined up for almost an hour just to keep talking with him. That tells you everything."
What he delivered
A working session, not a talk. Lamar delivered the Hidden Revenue Formula with a book and a workbook, built around revenue founders already have and are not capturing.
"The fact that Lamar talked about unlocking hidden revenue that's already in your business. He talked to our entrepreneurs about how they can double their business today by pulling some of these levers is amazing. This is how we help founders who think they have limited resources really increase their impact, really drive revenue."
An hour-long line after a session like that is the clearest signal a program director can get. Attendees don't stay for a speaker who gave a good performance. They stay for one who gave them something they can use.
In her words
"If you're looking for a speaker who's relatable, inspiring and genuinely invested in helping entrepreneurs grow, I can't recommend Lamar enough. He was a true highlight of our Spring 2026 Speaker Series at the Center for Entrepreneurs at Corporate College."
"Lamar, thank you again for spending this time with us. You made a real impact."
